Are you passionate about rugby and ready to lead a dynamic and ambitious team? Henley RFC is seeking an inspiring and driven Women’s Rugby Head Coach to guide our Henley Hawks Women’s team to new heights in Championship South.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: RFU Level 3 Coaching Certificate, would consider level 2 with exceptional experience.
- Experience: A good understanding of women’s rugby, ideally with expertise in coaching a women’s team, but not vital.
- Have good management skills to be able to inspire and lead a diverse team of players with varying experience.
- We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Head coach, responsible for recruiting talented players and developing a clear structured pathway for player progression within the club, which could stretch to development of junior girls.

Some key responsibilities include:
- Plan and lead all training sessions, working with other coaches to ensure all sessions are delivered to the desired standard as agreed with the Director of Rugby.
- Ensure athletic performance development is embedded as part of session delivery.
- To lead the review and performance analysis of both Henley and opposition teams through the use of appropriate tools such as Veo.
- To lead recruitment of players as agreed with the Director of Rugby.
- Administrative work, reporting to club committee as well as RFU.
- Build working relationships with local clubs, premiership teams and Henley College, along with maintaining international relationships.

About Henley & Hawks Women:
Henley on Thames is a vibrant town steeped in history, easily accessed via M4 and M40 and train links into Paddington.
Henley RFC was established in 1930 and is a community-driven club with a proud rugby tradition. The Hawks Women first season was in 1995 and have previously competed in the Premiership, now competing in Championship South, showcasing some of the best talent in Tier 2 rugby. Training nights for all female and male senior teams are Tuesday and Thursday, games are played on a Sunday. Our club is committed to supporting players and coaches alike in achieving their full potential, on and off the pitch.
