HENLEY HAWKS NETBALL CLUB

Henley Hawks Netball Club was founded by Louise Porter, in 2009 in Nettlebed.

In 2021 the club officially relocated to Henley Rugby Club, training on both the Rupert House School Netball Courts and Henley College Sports Hall. This move allowed the club to grow and offer more netball to the local community, now offering multiple sessions a week, suitable for all.

We are immensely proud to have 5 league teams representing us in the Maidenhead District Netball League (MDNL) as well as 2 teams in Reading District Netball League (RDNL). We competed in Berkshire PREM League for the first time in the 25/26 season and look to confirm a place again for the upcoming 26/27 season.

Our Junior and Youth sections are thriving. Our Junior sessions run on a Sunday morning for year group YR2-YR9 at Rupert House Netball Courts. On a Tuesday evening we run dedicated training sessions for our U13 and U14 Berkshire Junior Netball League (BJNL) and we are immensely proud of how out competitive Junior Squads are growing.

In April 2023 we launched the Henley Hawks Mens Netball team, which quickly led to the development of a Mixed Netball team. Both squads are going from strength to strength in the EMMNA National League and Championships and carving a name for themselves. 

As a club we promote mental and physical health both on and off the court. We aim to strengthen our community through connections made in sport. Sport unifies us all and diversifies our friendship groups. Women’s sport is on the rise and we aim to install values of acceptance and inclusion through team sports.
