We are pleased to confirm Henley Hawks National 2 East opponents for the 2026/27 season.
Luke Allen's side will be full of confidence after a superb run of form since Christmas, which saw them become one of the form sides in the division. However, it is undoubtedly a tough league with several clubs holding realistic promotion aspirations.
Following relegation from National One, the Hawks welcome back Leicester Lions to Dry Leas for the first time since the 2021/22 season, and they will be looking to bounce back at the first attempt.
We also welcome Colchester back to National 2 East following their championship winning season in Regional 1 South East.
There will be two trips to the Channel Islands for the Hawks with both Guernsey Raiders and Jersey RFC featuring in the new line-up. Jersey had a fantastic season as Champions of Regional 1 South Central.
We sadly had to say goodbye to our friends at Sevenoaks and Oxford Quins, who were both relegated from National 2 East.
The full list of sides that make up the 2026/27 National 2 East are as follows:
Barnes, Canterbury, Colchester, Dorking, Esher, Guernsey Raiders, Havant, Henley Hawks, Jersey, Leicester Lions, London Welsh, Old Albanian, Oundle, Westcombe Park
The fixtures for the new season will be announced in the next couple of weeks, so please keep your eyes peeled for more information in due course.
