The Club are delighted to welcome back former Hawk, Dave Manning as their first new signing for the 2022/23 National 2 East League season.

Tighthead prop, Manning, a mainstay of the Hawks side in the past has been with Newport (Salop) RFC for the past couple of years in the Midlands Premier. His performances certainly caught the eye as the Shropshire outfit comfortably won their league and have gained promotion to National 2 West for the upcoming season.

In other signing news, we are delighted to welcome former Chinnor centre, Max Titchener to Henley for the 2022/23 campaign. Titchener has plenty of pedigree playing in National 1 where he represented Hull Ionians whilst on loan from Coventry. Last season he played for Chinnor and his experience will prove vital for the Hawks as they set about life in National 2 East.

Joining them is another prop in the form of Luke Shpylka. The young loosehead joins from Redruth and has shown plenty of promise as the Hawks look to build a solid foundation for the upcoming season.

Lastly, second-row Zac Fryer joins the Club from Newbury. Another young player with an excellent reputation, we are very pleased to have secured his services for the new season.

There will be plenty more announcements over the coming weeks, so please keep checking in regularly both on our website and through our social media channels.
