We are very sad to announce the recent passing of Gordon McBride, a very popular and much-loved member of the club.
Proud of His Scottish Heritage, Gordon was also fond of the great outdoors, with a sharp sense of humour and a passion for Rugby, Golf and Bridge. He was a staunch Hawks supporter and a Club member for more than 50 years.
A coach with and from the birth of the Minis & Junior Section, Gordon was also a founder member of the 'Last of the Summer Wine' match day lunch table.
He will be very much missed by all who knew him, in particular his encouraging and entertaining touchline responses on match days.
