Work is well underway for Henley Hawks to build on their end of season form ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, and Luke Allen and his coaching team have been busy behind the scenes putting together a competitive squad.
With the announcement at the end of the season that Sam Lunnon is heading off to Amersham & Chiltern as Player Coach for the new season, he will also be joined by George Wood, who we will be very sad to see leave the club. Wood has been a mainstay in the side over the past eight years, and will leave the Hawks with an incredible highlight reel of tries and sensational moments that will live long in the memory.
Also leaving for pastures new are Max Titchener and Lailand Gordon, who have both contributed huge amounts to the Hawks over the last few seasons. We wish them all the very best of luck wherever they choose to play next season and they will always find a very warm welcome at Henley.
As for re-signings for the new season, we are thrilled to announce the following players are committed to the club for the 2026/27 season:
Spencer Hayhow, Kadeem Collins, Edem Adablah, Louis Bailey, Luke Shpylka, Moses Fakatou, Ben Elsey, Zack Taylor, Max Brown, Jake Rawcliffe, Marcus Lowe, Scott White, Roan Noone, Will Dempster, Will Benning, Leo Webb, Callum Jones, Jimmy Leach, Tom Cunningham, Tom David, Seb Scott, Oscar Busby, Aaron Bello and Toby Howe.
