The Henley Hawks Academy celebrated the conclusion of a hugely successful inaugural season with its End of Season Awards evening on 24th April. It marked a fitting end to a campaign that saw the academy finish an impressive second in their league, laying strong foundations for the future.

Head Coach Ashley Johnson reflected on the year, highlighting the core ethos of the programme: “making memories.” Across the season, players not only developed their skills on the field but also built lasting bonds and experiences that define the spirit of the club.

A particularly special moment of the evening saw players who had progressed through the Henley age-grade system receive the academy’s first-ever “graduation” caps—an important milestone celebrating their journey and commitment to the club.
