We are very pleased to announce that the Club will be hosting Oxfordshire RFU's second round match against Buckinghamshire RFU in the Bill Beaumont County Championship this coming Saturday, May 14th.
Last weekend Oxfordshire RFU travelled to Nottingham RFC and secured a 21 – 14 win against Notts, Lincs and Derbys RFU whilst Buckinghamshire RFU suffered a 46 – 3 defeat to North Midlands RFU at Aylesbury RFC.
In what promises to be an exciting local derby, kick-off is 3pm this Saturday and the game is free to enter. Car parking is available in the Borlase Field (also free) and the bar and food outlets will be open from 12.30.
Oxfordshire RFU Representatives and Players have very kindly withdrawn the No 8 shirt for the County Championship matches this season in memory of David Hyde - #ForDH8 who played on a regular basis for the County. Henley RFC acknowledges the very kind support provided to the Club and David’s family and we look forward to hosting this match in David’s memory.
